As in previous years, the 46th Annual Britt and Area Winter Carnival promises to be a fun-packed week for the whole family.  Come out and support your community – the way you have for the past 46 years!  Bring your whole family, and as many friends as you want – there is something for everyone:

POKER RUN – The poker run begins February 13th and will run all week, with prizes being awarded on Sunday, February 19th at 4:00 pm.  Get your stamps any way you want:  walk, drive your car or snowmobile to the locations…the choice is yours.  There are LOTS of prizes to be won:  valued at $50 - $200!!!  Here’s how you play:

• collect a game card from any of the 11 participating locations (listed below)

• at any time during Carnival Week, collect a stamp from any of the 11 participating locations, with a minimum of 5 stamps, and to a maximum of 7 (per hand)

• draw your hand at any time  (by a designated “official”) during the Bazaar, or at the Adult Carnival Dance.  ($5 per hand)  Last card draw is at St. Amant’s Waterfront Inn Sunday, February 19th at 4:00 pm.  Prizes will be awarded following the last hand drawn.

• Prizes will be awarded according to standard Poker rules – best 5 cards out of 7 drawn

• If you are not at the Waterfront Inn at the time of the Prize Draw, and you are entitled to a prize, the prize will be drawn for you. In this case, all prizes are as awarded.

CLOSEST TO THE PIN – Come out to the Ball Field and hit your golf ball closest to the pin.  Clubs will be provided, or bring your own.  Great prizes.  $1/ball or 6 for $5.00.

BAZAAR – Again this year we will be having a Silent Auction.  Here’s a reminder of what it’s about:

Register for a “number” at the Silent Auction table.  Look over the items available for bidding.  Whatever you are interested in, write your number on the accompanying sheet and the amount of your bid.  At 4:00pm, we will be announcing the number of the person who has placed the highest bid.  You then pay the amount you have bid for that item.

We will also be having a Bake Table, Prize Table, Food Hamper, etc…..

DONATIONS FOR THE BAKE TABLE, FOOD HAMPER AND PRIZE TABLES ARE GRATEFULLY ACCEPTED BUT NOT REQUIRED.
